This is a brief description of the service ...

We are in need of volunteers that like horses, dogs, and children.

We also need donations to help provide our services to you.  For example, just the liability insurance for a year for the riding program is $1600.00 and providing a bathroom (Port-o-John) at the barn is $2000.00 a year.  These are just examples and please don't forget the care and feed for the animals.

If you have any tack that has been used for the handicap we are in need of it badly.

We also need a ramp built for our riders if you are good at building things like that.

We need a new roof on the barn, if anyone is good at roofing.

We need a schooling horse for our riding lessons, it would be great if it could also pull a wagon and come with everything needed to pull wagon.

If there is someone willing to cut trees down for the trees we could use you.  It is mostly pine trees.

We need a lawn mower, riding or push.

We need a washer and dryer.

Does anyone have a 4wheeler they would like to donate? Andrew's 4wheeler died and it hard to work around the barn without it.

Does anyone want to donate a tractor?  We could sure use one.

THERAPEUTIC RIDING EQUIPMENT-needed for barn
Adaptive riding equipment ranges from custom-made products tailored to fit the needs of a particular rider to multi-purpose products used for a variety of riders with different disabilities. A few examples include:

The walker belt, which is worn around the waist and provides two secure hand holds for persons walking beside the rider. The hand holds allow the 'side-walkers' to keep the rider firmly positioned in the saddle.

The therapeutic saddle has an extra support element for the back and a large, easily grasped handle in the front. These features provide a much more stable base for the rider. Gripping device. Belt and saddle.

A mounting ramp allows a person who uses a wheelchair for mobility or a person who may have difficulty with the traditional mounting procedure much easier mounting access. Mounting ramp.
